I'm Still Thinking About It...

I shot this yesterday morning from the deck of my condo. Yep, that is my umbrella and those are my chairs and that is my beach....really. Not to rub it in or anything....really. I am still pondering this whole business....really. I gotta go now....I am starring in my own Corona commercial....really.

Should we stay or should we go?

Maybe it is the thrill of doing something that noone else is doing, or that noone else can do (at least in this area)....but, at any rate, that thrill has dwindled to almost nil. For the moment, at least, I am debating on whether or not to even bother carrying on. On one hand I feel obligated because, geez, someone has got to do it...and I can. On the other hand, why bother? The powers that be in this area, for whatever reason (I have opinions on the matter, but 'if you can't say something nice.....'), absolutely refuse to embrace the concept. The 'tourism' entities obviously feel threatened by what we are doing; either because we are doing a better job of promoting the area or the fact that we are promoting the area at all. And the city governments....fagiddaboutit.... well that is an atrocious story all by itself (for another time) and don't even get me started on the Chamber or SEDA. So what do we do? I am going on vacation next week and plan to take this down time to answer this question for myself. Your input is valued.

There are several key aspects of the new development that we will need your comments and suggestions on.
